Final lecture in our winter series...

Sunday, March 21st, 2:00 pm

“Pickett’s Charge”

Wayne Motts, Director of the Adams County Historical Society in Gettysburg Pennsylvania, will take us back to “Pickett’s Charge,” the massive frontal assault by 12,000 Confederate troops against 6,000 Union soldiers at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863. Mr. Motts is a Licensed Battlefield Guide and a leading expert on Pickett’s Charge.

The lecture will begin with a “Local History Moment,” a brief vignette presented by the Licking County Historical Society featuring a local artifact and its history.

The lecture is held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in The Works Meeting Room located in the main museum building. Normal museum admission is required. Members of The Works are admitted FREE.

The Works would like to thank Truck One Freight Services for generously sponsoring this lecture series.
