Curious Kids Summer Programs are a great way to keep your kids learning and having fun throughout the summer! The Works has partnered with several local businesses and organizations to offer the best, and most fun, summer youth programming around!
CURIOUS KIDS SUMMER SCHEDULE: - June 21: Fairy Gardens - Create beautiful gardenscapes that are perfect for fairies to visit with little help from our friends at Wilson's Garden Center.

June 28: What Water! - Explore the wonders of water with Newark Waste Water and the Licking Soil and Water Conservation District.

July 5: Science of Ice Cream! - Believe it or not, there is science
behind this tasty treat! Learn how science and chemical reactions create
this cool treat then make some of your very own with the help of Velvet
Ice Cream.
- July 12: It's Teddy Bear Time! - Our friends from the Licking County Library present stories and activities of the Teddy Bear kind!
- July 19: History Doctor! - Discover Civil War era medicine with local historian Doug Gill.
- July 26: Making Science Make Sense! - Science will make perfect sense after a few Bayer Material Scientists shed some light on the subject.
- August 2: Say Thank You to Veterans! - Our friends from Honor Flight Columbus will be here to show off a cool WWII half track (full size Army vehicle) and help kids write thank you letters to veterans of WWII. These letters will be presented to veterans on their visit to Washington DC in September.
- August 9: Get Creative! - Assembling art is fun with artist Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart.
- August 16: Bernoulli Basics! - Explore high flying fun with The Works Venturing Crew 4311.
