The Works Glass Studio is all about teaching the art of glass blowing through hands-on education and outreach programs! - Visitors can take part in Private Glass Blowing Classes which allows participants to work one-on-one with a professional glass artist and learn glass blowing techniques at their own pace. Private classes also provide flexible scheduling options.

are also great opportunities to drop by the Glass Studio and let your
creativity flow by creating unique fused glass jewelry pieces, painting
pottery, and even creating a blown glass paperweight!
- An annual Hot Shop Scholarship is awarded to a student with an interest in the art of glass blowing. During a 5-day period, the student receives one-on-one training and mentoring from a professional glass artist. The scholarship recipient creates his/her own pieces of glass art while honing their skills and gaining a deeper understanding of techniques of the trade. Individuals interested in this scholarship must apply by contacting The Works. Applications are accepted March through May. View photos from this year's Hot Shop Scholar experience.
