Operation Schedule

The Works Glass Studio has several classes, programs and activities throughout the year. The Glass Studio's yearly operation schedule is as follows:
  • January: Open to the public for Jewelry Making and Pottery Painting classes taught by local artists. Live glass blowing demonstrations are conducted for the public Tuesday through Friday at 1:00 p.m.
  • February - May: Open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday under the oversight of The Works Artist In Residency (AIR) professional glass artist. Live glass blowing demonstrations are conducted for the public Tuesday through Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.For more information about The Works current Artist In Residence, click here. 
    During these months, the AIR will conduct classes, programs, lectures and demonstrations based on his/her field of glass expertise.
  • June 1 - July 9: Open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Live glass blowing demonstrations are conducted for the public Tuesday through Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ONLY. Glass Classes and Open Studios also available.
  • July 11 - August 8: Glass Studio Hiatus. Studio is closed to the public for necessary cleaning, repairs and inventory process. No glass blowing demonstrations during this time period.
  • August 9 - 31: Open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Live glass blowing demonstrations are conducted for the public Tuesday through Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ONLY. Glass Classes and Open Studios also available.
  • September - December: Open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday under the oversight of The Works Artist In Residency (AIR) professional glass artist. Live glass blowing demonstrations are conducted for the public Tuesday through Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.For more information about The Works current Artist In Residence, click here.
    During these months, the AIR will conduct classes, programs, lectures and demonstrations based on his/her field of glass expertise.
  • Year-Around OPEN STUDIO: Visit the Glass Studio on the 3rd Saturday of every month from Noon - 4:00 p.m. for OPEN STUDIO. During this time, visitors may select pottery pieces to paint or design custom pieces of fused glass jewelry. Click here to learn more about OPEN STUDIO.
