STEM Industry Days

Date: Sunday, January 26 & March 16

Time: Noon - 3:00 p.m.

Industry Days are a STEM initiative highlighting the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math skills.

STEM Industry Days at The Works occur in January and March to highlight community businesses and provide them with an opportunity to educate the community about their business through activities and demonstrations. Industry Days are a great way young adults to understand what businesses do, how they are an important part of the community, and what career paths they may want to pursue in the future.

January 26: Financial STEM Day, Noon - 3 p.m. Re-scheduled due to inclement weather to February 22, Noon - 4 p.m.The Works welcomes kids to explore the wonderful world of finance! Learn how bankers, investors, account managers and auditors apply STEM education principals in their everyday business life. Professionals from area financial institutions will be on hand with fun, interactive activities and free giveaways. 

 

 

March 16: GO GREEN Energy Day, Noon - 3 p.m. The Works welcomes kids to discover what "going green" is all about! Learn who is using green energy & sustainability practices in their industry everyday & how you can become future leaders of the Green Revolution. "Green" professionals will be on hand with fun, interactive activities and free giveaways.

ASTC Passport Members must pay general admission fees for admittance to all special events at The Works.
